I need more information. If anyone can provide it I would appreciate it.
Where are the nearest villages? Are there roads connecting them and the temple? How long does it take to reach them? Are there maps available? I'm not walking into the jungles blindly, not knowing what to expect first.
[Meth already has her weapons and basic traveling supplies that her capybara's saddlebags hold. She's named him Frei, though he's considerably calmer and steadier than her deity. That doesn't mean she's going to trek through unfamiliar terrain when their hosts are sure to have all the answers to her questions.]
My name is Meth Rezza, for those of you who I haven't met.
[Yeah, that's all she really wants to say to the crowds at large.]
Kat, Liz, I'm heading out tomorrow one way or another, if either of you want to join me.

[Meth has no interests in traveling alone. She's already sure Kat is going with them, and while she doesn't know as much about Liz, she made a good enough first impression to earn the invitation.]
Do you need any help getting things together for the trip?

One of the servants can point you the path to Eider.
[There's a pause and the faint rustle of paper.]
It will take longer, though. We don't import much from Eider, so you'll need to walk, but it's not far. Maybe half a day? The roads are good, it's quite easy. I make the journey often myself!

Are there any differences between the two? Blight, are there any maps I could at least look at, if not take with me?
[Meth would appreciate being able to gain a little geographical perspective, thank you very much.]
...and there are places for us to stay in these villages, aren't there? An inn or one of the locals?
[Not that Meth wants to stay with strangers, but she also doesn't want to be walking back to the temple in the middle of the night.]

The villages are kind enough to provide spare housing for our Called, but I think you will find the locals are more than happy to provide a place for you to sleep.
[It sounds like he's fiddling with a pen...and then he drops it. There's a muffled "whoops" before he returns.]
There's a button on your comm. Near the top? It will bring up a map.

[Completely ignoring everything else she just said, yeup]

Good to meet you, Zeke.
[She stops awkwardly. Meth doesn't really do this small-talk thing easily, or well.]

Y'name your capybara yet?

[Meth is...intrigued, though it isn't enough to sway her to head to Ardel over Eider. Not with the way this place is all laid out.]
What's it like there?
[More information is always good.]

[Pause.]
So you're heading out to one of the villages. You must have an secret passion for adventure. I hope you know, when one usually make journeys, they take an accomplished band with them to ensure that no trouble occurs. There's also one extra guy there just for comic relief.
no subject
That's...an interesting way to look at things.]
It's good to meet you, Abed.
[She might have pegged you for a Kouhyaran by the name, but it seems too soon to tell.]
I'm not sure that comic relief is needed so much as able bodied people who can hold their own in a fight.
no subject
[And Abed makes a conscious effort not to let stories be humorless, mind you.]
But I guess able-bodied people are pretty important, too. That's why the best people can do both.

[He doesn't want to invite himself along. That would be rude. But he's keeping an eye on you. Or more accurately, he's keeping an ear out for you.]

[She rather likes speaking with the Warrior. He's polite and respectful, and doesn't push past the boundaries of personal space, conversationally or otherwise.
As such, she is also keeping an ear out for him, should the occasion arise that he needs aid.]

You know how to fight, I assume?
[Meth wants credentials, Ironhide. All she knows is that you're a robot, and the ones back home are not the sort you travel with.]

I have been a soldier for longer than your species has had the capacity to walk upright.

Perhaps, or maybe those who are attracted to dashing, handsome men were busy when you tried to get their attention. I know that two of those in charge are ladies.
[Well, the pale-haired one seemed a lady. Meth was withholding judgment on the one named Raina.]

Liz is also in, though she still needs equipment. There's also another that would like to join us. We can discuss it as a group later.
