[ Draft 2 ] Project 1: Sergei's Bar and Grille
Attention all passengers:
Sergei's Bar and Grille will be closed for construction purposes. Stay outside the white tarp at all times. [Oh right.] Please.
It should be open and functional again as soon as possible.
[ Locked to Crew | Unhackable ]
They blew up the kitchen. Can we run some sort of remedial cooking class so this won't happen again?
The room is still smoking...
[OOC: Sergei's is now blocked off with chainlink fence, yellow CAUTION tape, and white tarp. There will be lots of loud noises coming from within as Meth is tearing down all damaged parts of the kitchen and improving upon the old design. Gaining access will require climbing the chainlink fence and ducking underneath the ceiling-to-floor tarp.]

Well shit, when you say 'as soon as possible', how long is that?
[Unhappy Zeke is unhappy]
no subject
[Meth isn't in a hurry to let Zeke know when he or anyone else can blow up the kitchen again.]
It will be done when it is done.
no subject
Right, well, do y'think you can hurry it up a little? I've gone a business to run.
Threadjack hi
omg hi there
I just told her to push a button and she went and set the oven on fire.
no subject
Y'blow shit up, y'get y'access revoked.
[Look Meifeng uses big words now! Her Common is improving. :3]
no subject
Fine, fine. I'll make sure it doesn't happen again.
[Zelda's going to be using an Easybake Oven for a long time]

[Meth paused a moment. She understood wanting things to remain the way you left them...]
If you want, I will briefly allow you in to write down the order you have them and remove them.
no subject
[He's already working on a diagram]
Schu bb are you on AIM at all today?
[Lucky for Remy, she hasn't started the major work yet.]
All night long just for you bb
[As soon as he's done drawing his little diagram, he teleports up to the bar. He's still getting used to this 'not being in hiding' thing. It feels weird.]
Hello?
oh mai~ 83
Here for the alcohol I assume?
no subject
Yeah, that's me. You're Meth, yes?
no subject
[He still hasn't given his name, but she unlocks the padlock anyway, unwraps the chain from fence and pushed one side open.]
The restaurant is not stable everywhere. Walk where I walk, don't touch anything, alright?
no subject
[It seemed a little extreme for the work to be done, but he didn't question it and followed as instructed.
She didn't seem the politest of people.]
I'm Remy, by the way.
no subject
Good to meet you, Remy.
[Perhaps it was extreme but the truth was Meth didn't want to worry about someone making things worse. She led him inside and over to the bar. Tables and chairs had been cleared out of the way. There were several organized stacks of building materials and work stations, and it seemed that much of the debris had been cleared away.
Next to the bar was a large cart.]
Might be best to move this all out for now.
no subject
They arrived at the bar and he nodded at her suggestion.]
Probably would be best.
[He starts to move behind the bar to begin packing his bottles on the cart.]
Thanks again for letting me do this.
no subject
One less thing to worry about.
[Meth appreciated that he hadn't gotten indignant over her rules of walking where she walked, not touching anything...not entering without permission.]
You've taken it upon yourself to tend bar here?
no subject
Well, yeah. Someone's got to. Shame to have all this fine liquor and no one to serve it properly. Besides, I love doing it and people seem to appreciate it so...here I am.
no subject
You are here...you could spend your days doing nothing, and instead you choose to work. To serve others.
[Meth could understand that, but found it interesting that a passenger would want it when they could spend the trip relaxing...]
no subject
[He smiles at her]
I've been here the better part of a year. I don't think anyone could do nothing for that long.
no subject
Completely understandable. Are you as upset as that Zeke that the construction is keeping you from your work, however?
no subject
I'm upset, yeah, but I can set up shop in the Oceanview until this is done if I absolutely need to. I used to tend over there before we opened this up.
no subject
Very true.
[She watched him load the alcohol...hm.]
Almost done?
no subject
Yeah, almost. I'll be out of your hair in just a minute.
no subject
[She wasn't ungrateful, after all.]
And I will let you know when everything is done.
[Meth took a moment to look around the room, then shook her head with annoyance.]
...such carelessness.
no subject
[He looks where she's looking.]
What, you mean Zeke?
no subject
[She looks back to Remy and shrugs.]
The elf girl...she caused this...but under his supervision.
[Ignorance couldn't be blamed...not when one who was supposed to be experienced was guiding the other.]
no subject
[He nods as she explains her irritation]
I'll talk to him about it. See if I can talk him into being more careful. He can get excited. I promise you he means well.
no subject
[She managed a smile with that comment. Even though this particular project shouldn't have existed in the first place....]
Perhaps he does. What's done is done, in either case.
no subject
[He starts to head out with his cart of alcohol.]
Can't wait to see it when it's finished.
no subject
I'll walk you out.
[Meth began to lead him out, holding the tarp open as he approached.]
no subject
Thank you very much.
[He exits the tarp and turns back to her with a smile.]
Don't work too hard, all right? And if you need a drink, let me know.
no subject
[There was too much to do. If Meth had time for a drink, she had time to work.]
I'll let you know when the bar is ready to restock.
[She reached for the chain hanging off the chain link fence, ready to lock it behind him.]
no subject
Once again, I am very sorry for the inconvenience. If there is anything I may do to help recovery, I would be more than pleased to lend my aid.
no subject
You didn't know any better. Now you do. No help is necessary.
[A pause.]
Your offer is appreciated nonetheless.
no subject
Obviously, not everyone on the crew is so terrible.]
...Thank you, Miss.
no subject
Yeah, sure.
