[ Draft 4 ] Back on Schedule, but Not Enough Caffeine

[Since the passengers were all so distracted with their babies over the weekend, Meth has some good news!]

Sergei's is ready for use again, and the stairs between deck eleven and twelve are repaired.

If you do not know how to cook I suggest you find someone who does and follow their exact instructions if you wish to learn.

[She takes a deep breath, sounding weary.]

The temple of deck thirteen will be temporarily off-limits to passengers. If there are any major repairs you may know of, tell me now. Don't know what happened to that list...

Do you have anything that can give me a boost of energy or something? Coffee's not doing the trick.

But if it's not dedicated to one in particular, does it have any real power...?

[Meth really wasn't the one to talk to about the power of temples.]

Does it need power to be a place to pray?

No, but... when people pray in a temple, they're usually putting trust in the location to help send their message. Right?

It depends. My people don't rely on the power of a place to reach their deities.

Neither do mine, but we also care about whose temple it is we're standing in when we pray to them.

Well, this temple is dedicated to no particular deity. It is intended for everyone's use.
